Film screenings at 8 FICNOVA 2026
FICNOVA is a non-commercial festival run entirely by volunteers, without sponsors or its own resources. Screenings take place in theaters and other venues provided by the various host cities, depending on the capacity of each location.
Therefore, during the festival week, we cannot screen all the finalist films of this edition (35 works) in a single venue, much less all the selected films (818 works). Similarly, we lack the resources to facilitate the travel and accommodation of the recognized filmmakers.
The festival presents the awards and diplomas for each competition category to those recognized filmmakers who are able to travel to the nearest host city, after prior notification of their attendance, or sends them by courier to those who are unable to travel.

But the goal of FICNOVA is the development of a culture of active nonviolence, therefore, with the collaboration of the authors, throughout the year the screening of films can be programmed, which serve to illustrate or document activities of dissemination of nonviolence, always free of charge, non-commercial.
