A Festival of International “Projection”
The Active NonViolence International Film Festival ANIFF/ FICNOVA is openly conceived to be held simultaneously in all cities and countries that wish to participate.
For the organisation of the Seventh Edition in 2024, we are working from the cities of:
Buenos Aires y Tandil (Argentina), Río de Janeiro (Brasil), Kitchener (Canadá), Santiago (Chile), Madrid, Sevilla, y Vigo (España), y México DF (México),
It can be held in any location
The definitive list of organising venues for each year is finalised three months before the festival is held, in order to establish coordination between all of them.
The festival does not require red carpets or special infrastructures.
It will depend on the possibilities of the organising teams as to how to implement it in each place.
It can take place in small public or private venues, as well as in large cultural centres, universities, cinemas, etc., provided for the occasion.
The essential thing is the common space of possibilities that we open in us with active nonviolence.
Since the first edition in 2013 FICNOVA has been held polycentrically, with the participation of Hunanist teams in other cities:
Mar del Plata in Argentina, Tarija in Bolivia, Sao Paulo in Brazil, Guatemala City in Guatemala, Barcelona, Coruña, Fuenlabrada, Malaga, Murcia and Palma de Mallorca in Spain, Nouakchott in Mauritania and Guadalajara in Mexico, Huancayo in Peru.
