FINALIST films of the 7th FICNOVA
The international jury of FICNOVA, composed of nonviolence activists in different cities of Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Spain and Mexico, has recognised 41 films from 20 countries in five categories as finalists for the awards of this 7th edition:
We recognise in all these works not only the denunciation of different forms of violence and discrimination, but also that each of them shows different ways out or ways to overcome or positively transfer these situations, opening the future in a nonviolent direction

FICNOVA recognizes to bring a demonstration effect of nonviolent resistance to violence, whose example crosses borders. A young population confronts, from its human dignity as an unbreakable inner center, the greatest unreason and discrimination of those who consider themselves “superior”.
Who Am I
Medium-length film FINALIST 7 FICNOVA 2024
FICNOVA recognizes this film for providing a humanizing look on the ‘MENA’ that brings us closer to know the brutality of situations they have to live in this inhuman society, but also to recognize the greatness of their lives. At the same time, it shows how ‘dehumanised’ the people are who are able to empty the existence of these young people without resources, criminalising them and reducing them to a derogatory term.
