FICNOVA recognises this film for providing a reconciliatory and integrating look at the essence of the people and of each human being who seeks to ‘return home’, rescuing what is most valid in them. After the reparation process of returning land to those who were forced to emigrate, a profound search arises to give value to what is essential in people’s lives, preventing the same events from occurring again.
No One is Far Away

FICNOVA recognises this film for warning us of the insensitivity to the suffering of others into which we can fall, as we allow ourselves to be carried along mechanically by a society governed by the hoarding of power and money, as the main references. A look at ourselves, to understand the ‘human poverty’ in which we can live, even if we are rich and powerful.
Who Am I

FICNOVA recognizes this film for providing a humanizing look on the ‘MENA’ that brings us closer to know the brutality of situations they have to live in this inhuman society, but also to recognize the greatness of their lives. At the same time, it shows how ‘dehumanised’ the people are who are able to empty the existence of these young people without resources, criminalising them and reducing them to a derogatory term.

FICNOVA recognises this film for providing a demonstration effect of the collective work felt, starring women who stand up against the poor outdated patriarchal schemes. A song of hope for a collective humanity.
