FICNOVA – ANIFF; International Film Festival of Active Nonviolence; Humanist space of encounter in the culture of nonviolence. A festival that works to overcome violence and discrimination. A biennial, voluntary and free film festival.

The international jury of FICNOVA, composed of nonviolence activists in different cities of Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Spain and Mexico, has recognised 41 films from 20 countries in five categories as finalists for the awards of this 7th edition:
We recognise in all these works not only the denunciation of different forms of violence and discrimination, but also that each of them shows different ways out or ways to overcome or positively transfer these situations, opening the future in a nonviolent direction

A search for the fundamental questions we human beings ask ourselves: who we are, where we come from and where we are going. A search that questions the self-serving publicity of supposed exits. A convergent direction recognizable in more and more people, capable of breaking down the barriers between us by caring for others and working together.
