In a world where relationships of love and attraction are made visible through a magical tie that binds people together, two 13-year-olds, Maya and Fen, create their connection.
However, after some teenagers tease them, Maya runs away and her bond with Fen is broken. Maya will have to reflect on her feelings and decide if she is willing to lose her relationship with Fen.
