Laura is a school nurse who visits our high school once a week—and only for an hour. During that time, she works with students on various health-related issues. But today, her visit goes beyond routine prevention and counseling.
Teachers have asked her to speak with a group of students who have recently started showing up with unusual bruises on their bodies. The students dismiss it as a game—a way to decorate their skin, like tattoos. However, Laura senses there may be something deeper behind this seemingly harmless behavior.
With sensitivity and intuition, she begins to investigate a pattern that could be masking something far more serious. What she uncovers during that brief hour will challenge not only her professional skills but also her empathy and humanity.
