Five street vendors agree to perform a play based on their own life stories. In the process, they will discover themselves as both victims and perpetrators of a cycle of violence that has haunted their families for generations.
Non-Violence themes: SEXUAL, MORAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, ECONOMIC
FICNOVA recognises in the film a valuable example that goes beyond the liberation experienced by the protagonists after the cathartic process in the play, as it shows us how having an opportunity (a cachada) to become aware of our potential helps us to clear the future, not only for themselves, but their example travels around the world.
Little by little, nonviolence must bring us closer not only to having equal rights, but also equal opportunities.
