Mostar Sevdah Reunion is a multi-ethnic world music band, founded after the end of the war in the former Yugoslavia. Speaking of FRM Mostar musicians and artists, Balkan Blues aims to demonstrate that, in a period when violent religious radicalism is used for unclear and dangerous purposes, the universal language of music and art can promote peace, tolerance and social harmony.
